<\/a>Kate Bailward (aka Katja) is a cat-loving, trifle-hating<\/a> Englishwoman in Sicily.<\/p>\nBefore becoming an EFL teacher<\/a> in 2009, she spent 10 years working as an actor. This fuelled her love of storytelling, and started her on the road to narrative writing. \u00a0Since 2004 she has had various different blog incarnations, all previous versions of which have now been deleted for being embarrassingly bad. \u00a0She hopes to do better with this one.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Other writing:<\/strong><\/p>\n Kate\u00a0is\u00a0one sixth of the Italy Blogging Roundtable<\/a> team, who write\u00a0monthly themed posts about different aspects of life in Italy.
